At the upcoming Hannover Messe we demonstrate how the capability of the AI Controller reacts on an unforeseen situation by simulating a filling process in a beverage production. The PET’s are transported in a circle carried by the conveyor belt. The robot arm is used to simulate the bottle filling process.
In a normal situation the robot arm positioning is highly accurate, and no failures occur. The demo is equipped with various sources of disturbances, such as blockage causing selective friction, to simulate “abnormal” situations. Once “abnormal” mode is active, a failure occurs. With the AI Controller switched ON, anomalies will be detected. The filling process will shortly pause and resume when the process is stabilized.
